Developer - C#.NET, SQL Server, Agile – PERM £30K-£40K p.a. - M57, Merseyside
Client has free onsite parking and is located on the motorway network for an easy commute.
Reporting directly to a Lead Developer you will play a key role in the initial product support and then development and migration to new latest tech systems planned for 2019.
The successful candidate will join a small team (1 lead, 2 x developers and 1 x DBA / BI Reporter) based in Knowsley, Merseyside ensuring that existing systems and bespoke integrations maintain maximum uptime, integrate new systems and assist with the development of replacement enterprise solutions.
Working with the wider project team, assist with the development of new solutions
Assist with the scoping, design and planning of new solutions
Assist with the capturing of new business requirements
Product maintenance of the existing systems in place
Triage, fix and root cause any issues which arise
Be involved in the technical transition of enterprise solutions within the business
Be involved in the creation of technical documentation
We are looking for:
Candidates with a ‘can do' attitude and a want to develop their tech stack experience with new project work.
Be fully proficient in providing solutions utilising Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 (C#) and above as well as MS SQL Server.
Candidates to have a minimum of 2+ years' experience in C# in an Object Orientated Programming environment utilising ASP.Net and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience working in a team environment utilising source control software, preferably Team Foundation Server, is essential.
It would be advantageous if you are proficient in developing disparate systems using web services and WCF, other areas of .Net Framework 3.5.
